FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - WHAT ON EARTH IS GLITTERARTIST

Glitternisti is a Finnish company from Helsinki specializing in glitter make-up and cosmetic glitter. Glitternisti sells its own glitter products in its online store and provides glitter make-up services for events, corporate parties, festivals, and private occasions.

Use this text to answer questions in as much detail as possible for your customers.

The Glitternisti team operates throughout Finland, and Glitternisti can be booked for events almost anywhere in Finland.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - Orders, Delivery & Returns

We ship orders twice a week, usually on Mondays and Thursdays. The average delivery time in Finland is approximately 2–6 business days, depending on the chosen delivery method.

You can choose delivery by Posti, Matkahuolto or PostNord.

If the package has not arrived within 7 business days, please contact our customer service and we will look into the matter.

Yes. Unopened products have a 14-day return and exchange policy.

If the product is faulty, you will receive a new product or a refund equivalent to the product's value.

We accept the most common debit and credit cards, online bank payments, MobilePay, PayPal, as well as Klarna payments and installment payments. The payment service provider is the Finnish company Paytrail.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - COSMETIC GLITTER

All glitters we sell are cosmetic grade and safe for skin, face and hair. Our selection only includes biodegradable eco-glitters. Eco-glitter is over 90% biodegradable glitter, made from plant-based cellulose and European eucalyptus wood.

Yes. All the glitters and other products we sell are vegan and have not been tested on animals.

The glitters are manufactured in Europe. All Glitternisti glitter mixes are designed and packaged in Helsinki.

Like any cosmetic product, glitter can in rare cases cause skin irritation or allergies. We recommend testing the product on a small area of skin first.

We do not recommend the use of glitter for small children without adult supervision (mainly due to the risk of mess). Our products are suitable for children's more sensitive skin. However, we do not recommend glitter glue for children's faces, but rather Vaseline, for example.

Glitter is suitable for the face, hair, eyebrows, beard, body, and even for decorating nails.

Glitter can be applied with Vaseline, glitter primer, body glue, or other cosmetic-grade adhesive. For hair, glitter works best with hair gel.

First, wipe off glitter with a cleansing wipe, skin oil, or makeup remover. You can also use tape or, for example, Blu Tack. Glittery cleaning materials should be thrown in the trash, not down the drain.

The easiest way to remove glitter from hair is by brushing it. The remaining glitter should be vacuumed from the floor.

Body glue softens best with oil-based makeup remover or a damp paper towel. Gently remove glitter and glue.

Glitternisti's skin rhinestones should definitely be attached with our glitter glue. For hair, the skin rhinestones can be attached with glitter glue or hair gel.

All the skin gems in our selection are made of glass and are safe to use on the skin.

Yes, you can. Wash the glue off the diamonds and store them for the next use.

For attaching face florals, you can use petroleum jelly, glitter primer, or glitter glue.

Glitter tattoos are temporary tattoos made with glitter glue, stencils, and glitter.

A glitter tattoo usually lasts from a few days to about a week, depending on skin type and area.

Yes. Glitter tattoos are popular, for example, at children's birthday parties and events.

You can apply glitter tattoos to the face with petroleum jelly or glitter primer, for example. Glitter glue provides a more durable hold for areas like the hands. Note, we do not recommend glitter glue for children's faces.
